About Portsmouth Ferry

Portsmouth is a city located in the county of Hampshire on the southern coast of England, United Kingdom. Portsmouth is the historical home of the Royal Navy. It has the world's oldest dry dock still in use. This dry dock was home to many famous ships, which includes Nelson's famous flagship H.M.S. Victory. Although Portsmouth has declined as a military port in recent years it still remains a major dockyard and base for the Royal Navy. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is one of the top ten heritage attractions in the UK.

Portsmouth is a unique waterfront destination packed with things to do. Enjoy an irresistible mix of sailing, shopping, dining, drinking and centuries of maritime history in one of the world's most famous harbours. The waterfront extends for miles through Old Portsmouth and along Southsea's Victorian seafront and offers stunning views across the Solent.

Climb Portsmouth's newest attraction, the impressive Spinnaker Tower at the entrance to the historic harbour. Experience the stunning views from this unique 170m tower which will take your breath away. On a clear day, you can see for up to 23 miles.
