SeaFrance Ferries operate a ferry service between the English ferry port of Dover and the ferry port of Calais in France. SeaFrance Ferries is the only French ferry operator operating on the cross channel route Dover - Calais which gives you the chance to enjoy the unique French ambiance as soon as you get onboard.
SeaFrance Ferries began operations between Dover and Calais in 1996 after the termination of a pooling agreement with Sealink (by then known as Stena Sealink Line) in 1995.
The scheduled sailing time is 70 minutes (SeaFrance ferry Rodin) or 90 minutes (all other ferries).
SeaFrance Ferries offer 23 round trips daily.
SeaFrance Ferries currently operates 4 fast and luxurious passenger ships which all have been named after famous French painters. The SeaFrance Renoir and SeaFrance Cezanne have recently been upgraded and refurbished, the SeaFrance Rodin began service in 2001 and the newest super ferry, the SeaFrance Berlioz, was added to the ferry fleet in 2005.

The SeaFrance Ferries aim is to make your journey as effortless and as enjoyable as possible. On board, children of all ages are accommodated in safe, spacious environments. SeaFrance Ferries is the only French operator between Dover and Calais, the SeaFrance Ferries fleet currently consists of four vessels including the brand new luxury superferry, the SeaFrance Berlioz, which came into service in early April 2005. This ferry has an average speed of 25 knots. Sailing time between the French coast and the ferry port of Dover is less than 1½ hours with the SeaFrance Berlioz. The super ferry the SeaFrance Ferries Rodin joined the ferry fleet in November 2001 was Awarded the Cruise & Ferry `Most Signficant New Build Ferry' award in 2003. The super ferry the SeaFrance Ferries Rodin set new standards in luxury and elegance on the cross channel route Dover - Calais.
The SeaFrance ferry fleet also includes two freight ferries. The two freight ships are the Manet and the Nord Pas-de-Calais.
SeaFrance annually transports more than three million passengers and more than one million cars and trucks.
